Media player for your own M3U, M3U8 and Xtream playlists, local video files and SMB shares. Includes no content.
Bamboo Player is a media player for Android and Apple devices, built for the sources you already have. Add your own M3U or M3U8 playlist (by URL, or as a local file on Mac) or your Xtream Codes login from a legitimate provider. Bamboo Player organizes everything into a clean library with an EPG program guide, favorites, custom lists, history and "continue watching".
Its VLC-based engine handles common formats such as MKV, MP4, AVI, MOV, M4V and TS. It also plays network streams over HTTP/HTTPS, HLS, RTMP and RTSP. You can choose audio and subtitle tracks, change the subtitle size and color, and adjust hardware decoding and network buffering.
On Apple devices you can send playback to your TV with AirPlay, and with Pro your lists, favorites, history and settings sync across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV through iCloud. The Mac app also lets you browse SMB shares on your local network, download items for offline viewing, record live streams and export recordings to MP4, MOV or MKV. On Android there is Google Cast, Picture-in-Picture, sync with a Bamboo account and encrypted backups.
Bamboo Player does not provide, host or distribute any content. You add your own lists, files and sources, and you are responsible for having the rights to what you play.
Freemium: free download with limits. On the App Store in Spain, Pro costs €0.99/month or €14.99 one-time (Lifetime). Prices vary by country, and Android plans are listed on Google Play.
